Inspired by Sunset on the Saint John's River by master painter GEORGE HERBERT MCCORD, American, 1848-1909.
I only had a 3x5 pic to look at so that didnt last long. I let my imagination and memories of the area take charge of my painting. So it def not a duplicate, although, I was highly inspired by it.
16x20 oil painting on wrapped artist canvas. Painted on all sides. This is a Christmas present for my mom. I hope it will show her how much I love her and that God would be glorified.

Very saw the original painting, but I bet this a more wild part of Florida unaffected by endless car centric urban sprawl.
